How to

Set up Conclude

On this page

Start with the capability you want to use. You do not need to set up every part of Conclude before building an app or connecting a conversation.

Before you start

Sign in to the Dashboard. An account administrator enables the required solutions in the Admin console. Installing Conclude on Slack or Microsoft Teams may also need approval from your platform administrator.

Conclude account permissions and Slack or Microsoft permissions are separate. If an installation or control is unavailable, review roles and permissions and the platform authorization scopes.

Verify the first result

For Connect, send a test message in each direction and confirm that it appears in the intended conversation with the expected identity.

For Apps, use a test channel and create one activity. Check its fields and participants, then conclude it and confirm the recorded outcome. If the app uses an integration, also check that its intake or synchronization works as configured.

For Agents, check the deployment and response mode, then test with a deliberate mention or the configured app event. Use a small scope before extending a setup to more teams.

If the result differs from what you expect, start with Connect troubleshooting or the relevant integration guide. The command reference is available for people working from Slack.
