Explanation
Internal connections
An internal connection links a Slack channel with a Microsoft Teams channel or chat inside your organization. Your Conclude account contains both workspaces, and an authorized user chooses which conversations to connect.
For workspaces administered by another company, use External or Bridge. People outside your organization can also participate through an approved shared channel or guest arrangement; the shared channel setup explains that alternative.
Before you start
- Enable the internal, cross-platform Connect solution in Admin console > Solutions
- Add Conclude to both Slack and Microsoft Teams. Platform administrators may need to approve the requested permissions
- Confirm that you can access the channels or chat you intend to connect and have the Connect channels permission in Conclude. Admins grant it in Roles & permissions, under Admin console > Users and access
- Configure a Microsoft Teams integration account
The Internal quickstart covers account creation and installation with screenshots. Signing in identifies a user; adding Conclude to a workspace grants the platform access needed to operate there.
Connect existing conversations
- Open Connect > Channels in the Dashboard and choose New connection.
- Select the Slack workspace and Microsoft Teams team. Choose Chats in the Teams selector when connecting a Teams chat.
- Select the conversations on both sides. You must have access to the conversations you select.
- Review the connection settings and click Connect.
- Check the connection message in each conversation, then send a new message and reply in both directions.
For a new conversation between selected people, use cross-platform chats. That creates a private Slack channel and a Microsoft Teams group chat.
