Connect existing Microsoft Teams chats with Slack channels
We’ve expanded chat connection options for both internal and external setups:.
- Connect internal: users can now link existing Teams chats to Slack channels – not just create new ones. This helps to reduce redundant and duplicate chat threads, keeping teams aligned.
- Connect external: if the invited company uses Microsoft Teams, they can now connect an existing Teams chat or create a new one. Previously, only channel connections were supported. This update enables natural one-to-one and ongoing conversations across platforms.
